This Removable Steeringwheel kit doesn't only enable you to fit a Momo or Sparco steering wheel, it's great for security (ever tried to drive a car with mole grips?) and makes getting in and out of the Elise a lot easier to do!

After the demise of the Snap Off adapter which was originally used by Lotus, our design team has had a look at several designs and found none of them good enough for our purpose.
We've combined the strength of multiple systems into one Removable Steeringwheel Adapter which is specifically designed for use in a Lotus Elise, Exige, 340R, 211 or a VX220.
The kit is made as a one piece design. If you select the kit with the standard 15mm spacer, you will receive one adapter, so no more jiggling with adapter rings.
If you have a non-airbag steering wheel, the adapter will be attached to the car from behind and the remaining holes can be filled with the black nylon pegs which are delivered in the kit.
The kit comes with a fixed locking device. This will stop people from robbing your steering wheel.
The release system is based on a number of steel balls and a peg which grip into the sleeve. This provides great stability, certainly over the old Snap Off system. This kit doesn't include the actual Steering wheel!
