AP Racing discs and aluminium bells (pair)

One of the best options available for the Lotus Elise and Lotus Exige are these AP-Racing brake discs in either 290mm (Elise S1 or 340R with standard wheels) or 295mm (Elise S1 or 340R with Rota wheels, Exige S1, Elise S2. 2-11, Exige S2 and Vauxhall VX220.

These were tested in the best environment you can think of: the Elise Trophy.
Several teams run these discs and are very happy with the improvement in brake performance. The general consencus with these discs is that they are able to dissipate much more heat then standard discs or other ali-bell solutions.

Although bigger then the original discs, you can still run these discs on a car with standard calipers. Each kit comes with the spacers for the calipers included.

Besides being able to generate more torque by increasing the diameter of the discs, these will also lower the unsprung weight as they’re even lighter then the standard discs!

The dics come assembled on precision machined black aluminium bells.

295mm discs can be used with 15 Inch wheels although they are a tight fit. You will have to move all lead / zinc weights out of the path of the caliper.
