Boot lid Stay with Rubber Seal & Heatshield

The original Elise S1 came with an aluminium bootbox and a plastic cover to protect the boot from dust and water.

Unfortunately, the plastic covers turned out to be rather ‘service intensive’.
They’re also not very helpful when you want to check oil level as it’s blocking access to the engine.
And… everyone who’s got a Honda or Duratec conversion will know… the plastic covers melt!

To overcome all these issues our CAD department spend a lot of time designing a product which will overcome all of these problems.

The result is an aluminium bootlid stay as seen in the Elise S2 which is attached to a CNC lasercut and folded black anodised divider with a proper dust seal and integrated heatshield.

The bootlid stay will hook into a CNC folded, black anodised aluminium bracket which is bonded to the original boot lid.

As a bonus, you’ll get all new plastic fasteners to make the boot area look like new!

Please be aware, this product is compatible only with the Elise S1 with aluminium boot box!
