As the original coolant tank for the Rover K-series as used in the Elise Mk1 and Elise Mk2 (with Rover engine) is only getting more and more expensive, we’ve looked at producing an alternative.
Not only were we looking to build a direct replacement, we also wanted that replacement to increase the coolant capacity of the tank and for it to be long lasting. We ticked the last box by using aluminium for the tank and ticked the first one by increasing the size, whilst still making sure the tank would fit.
The tank is delivered including a stainless screw to attach the tank to the original bracket.
To make it look pretty, we’ve decided to get the tanks polished…
