CV-Joints can last a lifetime as long as the driveline is engineered in a proper way and as long as the CV-boots keep the grease inside the Constant Velocity Joint.
Once a CV-boot starts leaking, the grease will either get contaminated with dirt, or will simply be smashed out of the joint, which leads to a costly operation: a new CV-joint!
Best is to check the boots for leaks and actually feel if the rubber is still soft. If it’s getting harder, the boot will be perished and it will break..
Our CV boot kit includes one inner- or outer boot, special high-temperature grease and the clips you need to tighten the boot on the CV-joint and drive shaft.
