When tuning a Rover K-series you might get in a situation where you really don’t want to be… You add a take off plate to the system for an oil cooler or to be able to comfortbly install sensors without drilling and tapping in the block and you end up with an oil filter that is either at or very close to the exhaust manifold… not good…

We have designed a conversion screw which will screw into the OE Oil filter adapter and converts the thread at the other end. In this way, these low profile oil filters can be used.

Mind you, this filter cannot be used without the adapter screw i.e. without a take-off / sandwich plate. The thread of this filter differs to that of the original filter.

Despite being a low profile filter, the filter characteristics are very similar to the original Rover filter. The filter is slightly wider and is produced by a respected filter manufacturer.

En tales casos, podría tener sentido intentar combinarlos con artículos más grandes o pesados para que valga la pena.
