Ever since the introduction of the OBD protocol in Lotus cars since 2001 (Elise S2 Rover) the on-board electronics have played a bigger role.
Where the Elise S2 Rover was relatively simple, a Lotus Emira has highly complicated on-board electronics which do ..throw an error from time to time.
It’s nice to be able to see ‘something wrong’, but wouldn’t it be better to be able to check exactly what is wrong and -if safe- remove the error from the system?
This OBDII reader is an essential tool for this task.
