The rubber seal which should seal the guidance stem of the rear brake calipers is prone to damage. People tend to undo the caliper incorrect, or grab the rubber with a plier, which leads to a torn rubber.
It would be silly to do a complete brake caliper overhaul, just to replace this seal..
That’s why we came up with a seal kit. This kit contains two of these rubber seals which seal off the sliding mechanism of the rear caliper. Easy job and it will save you a lot of money. (If the slider gets stuck, the pressure on the front or rear surface of the brake disc will be unequal which influences brake behaviour, but also leads to warped discs…)
Delivered as a pair of seals.
