Kit de chauffage Hurricane RHD

There are a couple of good reasons for us to start production of our own heater housing kit for the RHD Elise S1.

First of all, we found the original kit not to fit very well. Specially, when installing a new heater matrix, you’ll find the heaterbox wasn’t exactly designed to accept this radiator.
From our own experience… the hot and cold controls don’t work very well. In fact, it’s cold during the winter and hot during the summer.

The original parts are not exactly very cheap…

This ..and a couple of other reasons made us decide to pursue our own version of the heater box. We wanted all known versions of the heater matrixes to fit, we wanted the flaps to work as they should and we wanted a product that would last a little longer. Therefore, we created the new heater components from thicker ABS material which doesn’t tear and break like the old ones do.

As a bonus, you will also get the adapter piece which converts the square hole on the fan box to the round pipe shape..

The kit consists of:
– The actual heater housing including all metalworks.
– The heater lid
– The plenum
– The pipe adapter for the fan.
