These lightweight steering arms are a direct replacement for the original and extremely heavy cast steel items fitted by lotus.
Not only do these reduce the weight of the steering arms, they also allow you to have a wider camber setup range.
If you want to keep the camber setting as standard and just like for like replace the steering arms, you should also order four 3mm camber shims (6mm per side).
We would recommend to change the upright bolts at the same time.
Manufactured from the highest grade material and to the tightest tolerances these arms are designed to accept the standard tapered ball joints and track rod ends found on all Elise and Exige models 1996 onward.
The arms are natural anodised (no colour added to the aluminium) which leaves a ‘chassis like look’.
For the Exige V6 we have specific steering arms, these cannot be used for that application.
