LMDash Digital Dash

Quite a few customers have asked us for an affordable digital dash as a replacement for their broken dash or because they want the data presented in another way.
We can now offer a solution which is aimed on more general use than being a high-end data logger of which a lot of people don’t use it’s features.

The solution is LMDash

This dash is fully plug & play, compatible with almost the complete Elise, Exige and VX220 / Opel Speedster platform. (*)

Installation is dead easy! Remove the old analogue dash and plug in LMDash and you’re ready to go! (**)

LMDash has been designed to cope with automotive conditions. It will work in both hot and cold climates and it’s super fast using a dual core CPU which is running direct applications rather than having to boot an operating system.

The 7″ touch display allows you to quickly go through layouts and LMDash supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as wireless connections as well as CAN Bus, LM-BUS and USB as wired connections.
Apart from the usual information, the display can show a clock, it’s got a build in audio system for warnings and a customizable gear shift indicator.

This development has not finished yet! We do expect to see a wealth of additional functionality such as GPS, TPMS etc.

You can choose display colour as well as a layout which suits your needs at that moment. The layout can be aimed at every day driving or track oriented driving etc.

The odometer can be set by yourself on first startup of the dash. This is a one time procedure which is not reversable. If the mileage is incorrect and has to be changed the dash will need to be returned and reprogrammed at cost.

The theme images in the gallery are made from an Elise S1 dash. Depending on the data which is available on the CAN bus of your car you will see more information such as current gear, temperatures etc.

(*) Lotus Elise with 1.6 Toyota engine and Exige with Automatic Transmission are not supported

(**) LMDash is slightly larger than the original Elise S1 / Exige S1 dash which means you will need to change the binnacle to be able to run the dash. We offer a carbon fibre replacement binnacle which can be found here.
