This tool is strictly designed to save time… your time!
Normally, you’d have to remove a complete wishbone from your car and bring it to a workshop press or vice to get the bush out. With this tool made from Zinc Plated mild steel you will be able to remove the bushes on the car.
Just undo the two bolts holding the wishbone, pull the wishbone out of it’s brackets and turn it slightly. Easy!
Another big advantage of using this tool is you can re-use bushes if needed. We’ve seen quite a few bushes being slaughtered while being pressed out, this tool is designed to keep the bushes alive. So if you do a wishbone overhaul, you can put the bushes back in completely undamaged.(*)
The sleeve design will make sure the bush is being pressed in at the right angle and at the position. A must have for anyone working on Elises or Exiges!
(*) except for one of the small rear bushes per side as one of these needs to be pushed through to get it out.
