Description

This is a full aluminium motorsport mounting kit for our Cup Style Rear Wing.

Lotus originally introduced two versions of the rear wing.
One was attached on the surface of the rear clamshell, the motorsport version ie the version used on race cars came with aluminium uprights going through the clamshell and mounting on the boot floor.

The ‘on the clamshell version’ is included with our Rear Wing, the motorsport version is an option.

For mainly road going cars, we would recommend to use the standard mounting hardware.

For race cars of track day cars, we recommend the heavy duty motorsport mounting kit as people have a habit to pull cars by the rear wing. This might not end well with the standard mounting kit.

If you already have a rear wing, please make sure to check the attachments first. We have made a change in the hardware to include a large load spreader inside the wing. This load spreading plate has different mounting points to be able to see the difference.
The motorsport mounting kit can only be used on the new style wings.

Dans de tels cas, il peut être judicieux d’essayer de combiner avec des objets plus gros/plus lourds pour que cela en vaille la peine.
