Description

Driving an Elise or Exige S1 is always a pleasure, but can be spoiled easily by a worn wheel bearing.

When you lift the car, grab the wheel horizontally and feel any movement, or when you hear a grinding noise, it’s time to replace the wheel bearing!

Timken is the original equipment supplier for Lotus (part number A111C6002F) and as accepted as the best option in the market.

Two circlips are included with the bearing.

There are four identical wheel bearings on the car.

When you replace the bearing, we recommend to put the new bearing in the fridge for at least one night. Certainly if your car has aluminium uprights clean the area carefully and carefully press the old bearing out.
Before pressing in the new bearing, carefully clean the area and press the new bearing in. Make sure you do this ‘square’ to prevent damaging the upright!
