Floormat Fixing kit

Sick and tired of these floormats which constantly keep moving while you’re driving?

This is a nice solution which will keep the floormat on a fixed position. Each set consists of four aluminium female and four
aluminium male fixings.

You will need to bond the female fixings to the aluminium floor of your car (or to the rubber mat, but after all problems with the footwell corrosion, most people have removed the rubber mats)

We leave it up to you how many fixings you use. We recommend to use four plugs per mat. This will ensure that the mat will not move forward or backward. Besides.. you can easily remove the mats to clean the
floor below.
We recommend the use of Loctite 3455 Poxymatic Aluminium adhesive to fix the female plugs to the floor. This will make a permanent connection. You could try to use double sided foam tape to be able to remove the female fixings, but that solution will not be as strong as the Loctite adhesive.

Attention: These fixings can be used on all models. However, some of the Elise S2 / Exige S2 onwards had plastic fixings. These plastic fixings are not threaded in the same way as our aluminium product. You can use ours, but you will have to replace both the male and female part to make it work.
