Early 2008, Lotus ran out of dash panel extrusions and were not able to deliver any of these panels.

This was kind of a problem because most people who converted their car didn’t quite like the idea of installing a dash which was cut open, covered with film, glued together or even welded together.

elise-shop teamed up with an aluminium extrusions manufacturer and has started a production run of these extrusions. The panels are cut to the right dimensions and right angles, holes are drilled at the rear and.. they are painted using the same paint which has been used by Lotus: Senotex.

If you’re looking at a dash which just doesn’t look right because it’s cut to pieces or because the colour doesn’t match with the other parts, here’s your chance to change the looks of the interior to a 100% original look!
