The extra hanger for the catalyst / exhaust silencer has often been removed or has simply been rusted through and rendered useless.
However, it is a good idea to use this bracket in the Elise S1 exhaust line as it will stop any movement into the exhaust, which in effect will stop the exhaust from slamming it’s tail tips in the top or bottom of the opening of the rear clamshell.
We’ve reproduced these brackets in the same dimensions as the original, but had them made in Stainless Steel, which means these will last..
