Ferodo DS2500 is a compound which is gaining interest from the Lotus community.
Originally selected as the compound of choice for the OE Lotus 4-pot Fast Road kits and of course the Evora, more and more people are now starting to use these pads on their Elise or Exige with 2-pot front Calipers.
We would rate these pads predominantly for Fast Road and occasional track day use.
The pads offer a consistent friction coefficient up to high temperatures.
They’re pretty low noise and are not producing excessive amounts of dust. They’re not ‘eating’ brake discs and they produce a good firm pedal feel.
