We invest a lot of time in optimizing our packaging procedures. The most important point is to keep pursuing undamaged arrival of your products!
Unfortunately, we must conclude that a shipment despite our care, can still arrive damaged.
To avoid complicated discussions with carriers, we expect you to visually check the package for damage and, where possible, inspect the contents of the package.
If you are under the impression that the packaging or the contents has damaged, please ask the driver for a claim form and fill this in immediately. If the carrier does not have such forms, you can insist that the driver classifies the package as damaged in his terminal. Please ask the driver to show what he has done.
elise-shop.com can not be held responsible for any damage that could be established upon delivery and is not reported as such. It is at all times your responsibility to check the outside of the package of damage!
Because of this, we encourage you to have your parts shipped to a location where someone is able actually check the parcel. Leaving the parcel in an unsecured place is risky. The parcel can be stolen or the courier can claim the parcel was left undamaged whilst it actually was damaged.
You have the right to return a purchased part without giving any reason within 14 days. However, the article must be returned unused, unmounted and undamaged. If the product is marked as a consumable on our website it can not be returned once the packaging is opened or the seal has broken.
If you want to return original Lotus parts a different set of rules apply:
Lotus parts are specifically purchased for you.
Up to a product value of €600 it is not possible to exercise any right of withdrawal.
From a product value of €600 and above, a 20% restocking fee will be charged to cover the cost of the product return and the restocking fee at Lotus.
When you want to return a product or products, you need to take care of proper packaging of these products. If products arrive to us in inadequate packaging, the return will not be accepted.
Return shipping costs are at your expense.
You need to ensure that the return will be sent to us within 14 days after notification. Shortages or damages need to be reported within 14 days. Reports that arrive after this period can’t be considered.
