The anti rattle plate can get ‘exhausted’ over time and AP Racing has changed the design of these plates to overcome a problem which we’ve seen in the past.
The plates are now equipped with locating grooves to retain the plate in the centre. This will help massively when installing new pads as with the old plates it was possible to have the plate running into the side of the caliper thus not working very well.
