The original towing struts seem to have a habit of completely disappearing in a pile of rust within a couple of years.
We’ve often heard Elise owners telling they had to get the car towed at some point but they were not able to as the towing strut was completely rusted away.
The replacement towing struts we’re offering are powder coated stainless steel, so they don’t rust anymore..
We offer two different versions for the Elise and Exige S2:
Early means all Rover powered Elise S2, Exige up to 06 Modelyear and Elise prior to 07.5 Modelyear.
Late means all other Elise / Exige models.
Please be aware that the late model doesn’t come with welded nuts. As Lotus started to use nutplates on later cars we have chosen to do a universal strut which can be fitted to every late model.
On the early model the threaded tube protrudes approx. 30mm from the welded plate, on the late model the tube protrudes approx. 10mm.

All shipments are sent using well known couriers. If your order contains oversize products, we will contact you before shipment to go through the details and inform you about the actual shipping cost.
Unfortunately, we're not able to ship through postal services due to price and reliability issues with Dutch post. If you want us to ship (a) small item(s) across the world, we will have to charge you the 'courier starting rate' which is for up to 1kg. In such cases, it might make sense to try and combine with larger / heavier items to make it worth your while.
