When you are replacing the Radiator on your car, you will probably find the fan brackets to be in a bit of a sorry state.
The original mild steel brackets start rusting and will look quite bad on your new radiator. All fasteners are mild steel as well, so they will be nice and brown as well..
If you want to put a second cooling fan on the radiator either to get more grip on the running temperature in traffic or to be able to select the second fan when the first gives up the ghost, you will need a couple of brackets, nuts and bolts etc.
This kit is exactly that, but with lightweight red anodised aluminium brackets, stainless screws, nuts and washers and original fan sliding brackets.
Rather than using Stainless Steel in this application, we thought it is a much better idea to fit ali brackets on an ali rad, so you will not be confronted with the chemical reaction (electrolytic corrosion) between Stainless Steel and Aluminium (!)
As a bonus, we have made the aluminium brackets adjustable. In that way, you never need to drill out existing holes or fit a radiator fan under tension!
We recommend to use these over the original items as our bespoke brackets are lightweight and because they’re made of aluminium and all fasteners being Stainless Steel, the total construction won’t rust away.
Each kit contains:
4 x Original Sliding bracket which connects to the Radiator fan
4 x Lightweight red Anodised adjustable bracket
8 x Aluminium Pop-Rivet
4 x Stainless Screw and Locknut
8 x Stainless washer

These kits are not compatible with the smaller fans used in aircon cars!
