Ferodo DS2500 is a compound which is gaining interest from the Lotus community and which is used as the Emira OE choice by Lotus.
Originally selected as the compound of choice for the Evora, more and more people are now starting to use these pads as they are very friendly in terms of modulation and general feeling.
We would rate these pads predominantly for Fast Road and occasional track day use.
The pads offer a consistent friction coefficient up to high temperatures.
They’re pretty low noise and are not producing excessive amounts of dust. They’re not ‘eating’ brake discs and they produce a good firm pedal feel.
