These pads have always been rated as very good for serious track use of Elise equipped with steel brake discs.
The RS14 is a racing brake pad with a high ceramic level. Very
stable in terms of fading and will resist constant brake temperatures
up to 650 °C. A new mechanical way to attach the actual pad to the
metal backplate will prevent the pad from coming loose.
While cold, the RS14 is as good as the RS42, at or above 400 °C, you
will definitely experience more grip from the brakes.
The RS14 is developed for lightweight cars and is suited very well for the Lotus Elise/Exige.
