If you run your car on track days and have tuned the engine, this 82° thermostat will help you to control the engine temperature.
As it’s opening 7° earlier then the original item, the average coolant temperature will be reduced and the system will open sooner.
Of course, we do recommend to use a remote thermostat and water to oil cooler on a heavily tuned engine, but if you’re looking for a cheap and quick solution.. here it is!
